Light Fantastic / July 27th

$80.00

‘Painting with Light’ is the literal meaning of the word ‘Photography’ and as such, describes what we all do when we take a picture. However, the technique we call ‘Light Painting’ opens up a whole new world of expression for the photographic artist.

Through use of a long exposure, the patterns and shapes of a moving light can be traced and literally drawn in the air to produce spellbinding, sophisticated imagery from the simplest of light sources.

Join Andrew Hall, at The School of Light as he shares his expertise in this technique for a journey into light and color and discover a new way to express yourself as a photographer.

Students need to bring a Digital SLR camera. A tripod will be useful, if you have one. All light painting equipment will be supplied.
