Cyanotypes / Coming Back Soon

$300.00

Discovered by renowned British astronomer Sir John Herschel in 1842, the cyanotype process was originally intended as a means to copy complex math notes and diagrams and became known as the ‘blueprint’ for its vibrant Prussian Blue color.

The process is seeing a revival, alongside many ‘alternative processes’, and this 3-week introductory class allows students to explore its creative possibilities by brushing emulsion onto various textured papers, which adds a beautiful hand-made feeling to their images.

All levels of experience welcome, all materials supplied and expert, friendly tuition all the way.

Class Duration: Three Weeks

Venue: 1933 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90007
